Dan Andrews
A native of Colorado, Dan has learned about Rocky Mountain wildlife by spending many hours in the field. Field trips to Denali National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Bosque De Apache Wildlife Refuge, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and many locations in Colorado have an important influence on new ideas for Dan’s painting.
After graduation from Colorado Institute of Art in 1975, Dan has worked as Art Director for a Denver area advertising agency while developing his career as a wildlife artist. An active member of the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society, National Wildlife Federation and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Dan hopes that his work will encourage others to help preserve all wildlife for future generations
