Born in China, Alex came to the United States in 1959. An architect by profession and without formal art training, Alex uses the theory of “learning by doing” which he acquired while attending Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo, California. Since 1973, Alex has successfully applied that theory. Alex has done many commissioned works, notably including the Western Governors’ Association, and Seattle’s Museum of Flight.
